Tuffy Locking Bed Box Installed

    Did you have a problem with the gap where the door seals too? I still have to find a fix for mine but am not too worried because I have a tonneau cover.

    Removed factory bed cover and installed UnderCover Elite. Added LOCKERDOWN console safe.
    Came with two seals so no problem here. Have an Undercover as well.

    Mine came with the seals too, but there is still a 1/4" gap between the seal and the metal when the door is shut. They welded the latch to close door on mine so it does not seal well. I haven't gotten around to fixing it yet.

    However, if you use a swing box you cant mount both on the same side as the swing box cant access the latch that holds it secure. I have both and have to run a padlock in the swing box in order to keep it free from swinging when driving around.

    I like those boxes and original was considering those but can't use them with my bed extender (which I use a LOT). They are nice boxes and a great idea though.
