The claimed that about 5 inches of the ring gear was completely destroyed and it almost punched its way through the 3rd member housing. The inside of the housing is damaged and needs to be replaced. They said that's an indication of 'extreme usage' and thus wouldn't honor the warranty.

 

You need to try bear meat. I only had some bear pepperoni, but it was pretty amazing.

 

No I have not, I will throw that on my bucket list.

 

Anybody in the Bothell area have an OEM back up cam on their truck? I bought a OEM camera to install in my truck. I would like to test if it actually works or not but I don't have the wiring lol

 

Well crap, can't find it. It's Chris4x4's install thread, but none of the pictures are loading.

Instead of removing your TRE's, remove the sway bar. Remove the top not from spindle/UCA. Remove to bolts connecting LCA to the brake/rotor. I don't remember the name for it, but its what I did. Just use a pry bar (the jack handle) to push the LCA down enough to get the shock in and out.

 

I get off work at 4pm Friday and free all day Saturday. Also would like to know if I should thaw out Elk or Venison or both...

Crazy, I got that alert too but I didn't realize it was in my neck of the woods.

It was quite the hoot when that alert went off. You aren't supposed to have your phone where I work and about a 100 sailors were waiting to get off the carrier when half of their phones went crazy simultaneously.

 

Anybody have a steel 16in wheel, normal or spare tire one, they are willing to sell?

Just the rim... It will only be used as a spare. Doesn't have to be steel, but I figured steel would be cheaper. I already have a tire ready for it.

 

I can't wait for the day an Amber Alert is sent for a green Toyota Tacoma and I get the stink eye from everybody on the road.
