Looks like some of you should be a little more careful without a snorkel. A few years ago I was driving through puddles in my 2nd 4runner with a 3.4 swap, anyway, the puddles weren't large at all. There was one that maybe went up maybe 3/4 of my wheel (I was on 33's mind you) and I guess I hit the puddle at the right angle and speed because water got sucked right up into the engine.

After a $1700 rebuild I learned my lesson. I'd hate to see any of you end up in that situation.

[IMG]This guy.... We specifically told him DO NOT go in there. Well.....
He hydrolocked his engine and he was lucky enough that his insurance company covered it. I submitted this photo to one of the magazine. He won 'stuck truck' of the month.

The truck behind me in the pic pulled me out (ignorantly alberta) total off-road experience is the name of the off road park where I usually play.

    Some stuff...
Lol, I was about to say "a man after my own heart" jokingly based on the pictures of rigs buried in mud compared to the pix of my 1996 in a similar situation. :D Did a double check before posting and saw it was a woman who posted this! Nonetheless, good pix and love fly fishing in Lancaster.

Tried to go around to pull the poorly equipped ford out. Got stuck bad. Buried both axles under ice and frozen mud. Truck's on 38"s.
