    mounted the awning today with 3 hose clamps per bracket seems very solid for what it is

    I really like this thing very glad I got the 79" plenty of coverage

    I pushed mine in about 6 inches so the first thing that will get hit is the load bar…. Ive been lucky so far not to hit the roof rack hopefully it stays that way :pray:

    i have the mesh walls...i wouldn't bother. Easy to setup and all but the bottom is still open so not sure how effective it would be. Plus wind blows it a lot as they weight nothing...and when is the wind not blowing? haha

    Good points
    I have destroyed 1 or 2 ez ups because I had walls on it and the wind wasn't cooperating

    I would hate to do that with this awning

    Bug usually aren't a massive issue here so..

    out there, i can see how it would be appealing. Not much to attach stuff too though..can't hurt to try i suppose, not very expensive i think.

    I feel like I could use it in certain scenarios but at the same time I probably wouldn't use it enough to justify it

    Alright thanks guys, got one at the show for the awning to put on the trailer. Still working on fabbing up the mounts. Does it (mesh walls) have spots for tent stakes similar to the annex leashes to hold it in place ?

    Is there any way that my brakes could cause a low idle when stopped

    I noticed if at a stop light the truck is vibrating a lot with the low idle....
    BUT if I pump the brakes the low idle and vibes go away until I stop pumping the brakes, then it comes back
