Only my kid rides in the back. Can't for any grown ups. I'm actually selling my extra cab and getting a double cab for that reason. Kids legs are gonna keep growing.

Mine is mainly just for storage. I've cleaned it up recently but mostly has crap in it lol. Now I have a sub taking up one seat. I did fit someone back there the other day though to go to a bar.

Same here but I've got a dog platform in the back that is usually covered in junk when the dog isn't in the truck. With the dog platform it makes it really easy for sometime to sit back there...

We did a road trip to a mountain bike race that was a 6 hour drive away. We just rotated through the back seats. One guy was getting car sick back there a lot so I ended up back there for about 3 hours. It wasn't too bad, but full size seats would obviously be better.

For one person back there I cut a piece of ply wood to go over the beverage holder with the seat folded up on the passenger side. I put some cushions down and it's quite comfortable. I have my inverter under the passenger seat so the plywood helps to protect that as well.

I'd like to build some kind of system to keep stuff organized back there. I have a sleeping platform in the bed and like to keep that clear so we can just crawl in and go to sleep with out moving stuff in and out. Currently, in addition to the plywood sitting platform, I have a bin with some basic tools and a snatch strap.

It's just way to crowded for 2 people back there I only put 2 back there when I have to, I need a tool box because my tools and first aid kits take up half the space anyways

I located a couple yards that had them complete, both quoted same price. I went to the closest one...Everything in San Diego cost more.
Threw it up there and it does not sit in the grooves, it is a couple inches off each side & it is about 4" too long. I will trim it so it lays Flat..... Honestly it is for appearance. (Not sure why but i like the look. Maybe mid-life Crisis & i like my truck to look a bit different.)

I saw one today in a parking lot that had the OEM one.. Really NIce! It has a silver color and is more beefy.
I have the small mounting bolts, did you use nuts that attach to the roof or screws????
Hope to get er done this weekend.

I got my truck right out of high school so I was pretty much the only one with a vehicle. So I was going on lots of trips all over the place with as many people as I could stuff in my truck. I think the most amount of people at once was 6.. 3x up front (including me) and 3x in the back. Yes it's and extra cab not a double.. If you want to include the bed id say I've driven about 8 people at once like one time haha.

I'm 6'4" and have rode in the back seat once. Very uncomfortable. I was still sober enough to get back there, much more intoxication I would have just rode in the bed.

    Look at build!

Better than ebay prices, those guys on there are crazy!! And when we did Travis9287's it fit up there perfectly! maybe had a slight bit of overhang as far the feet not quite sitting flush to the roof but not enough to be noticeable and his fit the grooves in the roof as well. I used the factory hex bolts that came out the roof of the Runner and went to the hardware store and got nuts with lock washers to fit then I silicone the piss out of the bottom side of the track as well as the inside of the cab.. no issues as of yet! & I like the track style racks better because theyre more adjustable and you can throw as many tie down points on it as youd like where as the one in the pic earlier looked more like a tube structure typer of rack that wasn't adjustable.. I personally like mine better but everyone has theyre own opinion

Also mounted a Blitzpro 6lz on the track for side facing lights

and pretty much finished up the rear bumper for trip to Gulches this Saturday

Thank you for getting back to me..
BTW, Your Truck Looks Great! Followed your Build... NICE work!!!!!!!!
