If I ever get around to lift it it'll be 886 fronts and Dakar rears. Oh wait you meant the other kind of spring...

Unfortunately I live where it's regularly -20 outside or worse, and my garage isn't heated due to my homeowner's insurance telling me I can't have a wood stove out there anymore. Sooo I'll be waiting until spring to do any real work.

Alberta gets that cold too lol. Why not just run an electric space heater or something?

Hopefully I'll be able to order some sliders and maybe new skids by late spring.

Yup, been pretty cold here since early November, calling for -27 on Monday, closer to -40 with the wind, hoping for a day off work so I can work on my truck :p

This is interesting that you would think of this thread, great idea. I have been thinking about going up to Canada. It would be nice to drive but it depends on what area I go to. My primary interest is doing some photography and I would be interested in doing a photography workshop if anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it.

That's one badass looking bike you got there. I think a dirt bike would compliment my truck excellently....

Is that a folding toolbox up on there?

I'd be interested in seeing a sweet photo shoot of Tacos in action...but I can't offer up anything useful on how to go about that sadly...lol

Since I just got her back from the body shop, I have a few things that I need to do. First is get the upper and lower GrillCraft grills in place again, and paint the AC condenser and relocate the horns. Then redo my retrofit, and hope that nothing is broken in the headlights. They seem okay, but now I have new lights to retro into, so that's kind of cool. Then sand and repaint the front skid plate and tow hooks, as they are a little rusty, some rustoleum should take care of that. Then swap the oil, diff fluids, and grease the driveshafts. That's when it warms up from the -25*C that is here today. Too damn cold. Meanwhile, I'll get the ported box I made installed and wired up. That's for the next chinook we get here, where it warms up to about 10*C. I've got plans, but have to wait for weather, because I'm outside without a garage.

Than you! I got a great deal via Craigslist and brought it home a couple of weeks ago - can't wait to get it out. You should get one!

It's not a folding toolbox, that's a BakFilp Fibermax tonneau cover, btw. Very happy with it (plays very nicely with the bike).

BlueBomber - here's some inspiration for you. This was from the Chicago Auto Show last week. That blue looks sweet with a Yamaha in the back!

Yikes! That is a striking picture. So tempting. Pretty sure I'd come home to a freshly empty house if the girlfriend found out I bought a dirtbike to go with my new truck. :D
