    Bone stock. For now.
I adjusted my e-brake last night. Every time I would let off the parking brake the damn light would stay on because the handle wouldn't depress all the way. Couple quick turns of the wrench and that eye sore was gone.

It's really easy, inside the frame rail under your driver door. I found this link in the 1st Gen "DIY" and "How To" Thread last night.

I use mine every time I park. I don't know where I picked up the habit.

That's what I've done. I have a clunk up to 15ish mph and check everything on the front end and even took it to a shop and everything was fine. They found what it was I don't remember now but its stayed the same for 25xxx miles

My kings were clunking pretty bad when it was cold for some reason. Now it's in the 30s and the clunking went away.

pretty much yep. No need for a new tcase though, should be the same unless you want a j shift one over the electric one if thats what you have.

    yes

which id keep over the electric for just the sake of having one less electric thing to fail..not that those fail a lot..but why not.

i guess its worth noting having the space and tools for it too is quite important. dropping and lifting a tranny aint a walk in the park..not horrible..but not fun with just a jack on the ground.

It was the common denominator. Mainly because I didn't have clunking before I put them on. First I thought they hit my CV axles, so I flopped them around. Then I installed LR UCAs a couple days later thinking it was just the ball joint maxed out. I still had clunking while it was below zero for most of the last month. Now above freezing I don't have clunking.

I would swap coilovers just to check. Maybe they need rebuilt? I don't think the clunking is harmful unless they are bottoming out hard or hitting something.

No big deal really, if you have a press, know how to use it and know the procedure. If you were around here I would r+r them in exchange for a good joke.
Another source of a "mystery clunk" can be low nitrogen pressure in a shock. On rebound, a momentary bubble of vacuum is created. It collapses a microsecond later causing the noise. It's known as cavitation. Seen and cured it many times.

Not necessarily. There are a few things although not as common that could be happening inside the shock too. Not knowing the whole story are these new shocks or bought used? Also I have had clunking issues that I traced to being the top hat adapter thing not being tight in the coil bucket, just something else to check
