Hahaha, it was a bit awkward watching a Toyota get towed...

Got the truck back. Additional $340 to fix :( (came out of my dyno tuning fund, probably going to delay the build...). Guy who did the shift kit not taking responsibility; lesson learned.

Today did some work on the injectors/URD Port Fueler. Came for the previous owner wired already, however not very well. Im not going to say what it looked like, but it rhymes with smis-mortion.

Started with cleaning the injectors and port fueler (lots of grime/dirt) and finished with wiring the injectors.

Everything cut up and ready for new wiring (no pics or original wiring, camera was still charging when I started. It was basically a lot of electrical tape and rats nest of wires):

Wiring complete. I hate soldering and heatshrinking. I usually f it up but this time everything went ok.

Ready for install (plastic wrap to keep the ports clean):

I have plenty of ideas, just need to look over the schematic and decide what to use. I have plenty of wire, splices and heat shrink and the manuals.

Some guy from the Tundra forums (spoolin)... Not recommended, get the IPT kit.

For those following, still working out the AEM FIC wiring/tuning. Today got the IC bracket worked out. I knew this was going to be a slow build, but damn...

Haha, well I planed it pretty good I think. Except for the shop fees for the transmission abortion I had (which came out of the "tuning" funds), Im still under budget. Just the wiring and finding time.

Tomorrow I need to get an inspection done and if I pass, Ill probably a: replace the fuel pump, or b: start measuring the IC mounting to see where Im going to need to cut for the piping.

What do you guys think about the Cherry Bomb Glasspack muffler?

Sub'd! Been looking at doing this for a bit. I'm in a bit of a different boat though, mine's a '95 so not sure what I'd have to do with ECU.

Will be interested in your thoughts on the fit of the CX kit.

Def will have a in depthreview on the kit and fitment. Heard that the cross over pipe doesnt alwaysfit/match. Not sure why not; it has a flex hose in the middle. Measurementswill have to be WAY off for it to not fit right I would think.

The stock IC is HUGE anda rock hazard for offroaders:

    My "MSPaint" rendition:

    CXRacingOrignal_zps0ba4797d_4ce5a2e27b4d8ebac630ef973133f5fd5488bafa.jpg

I needed to mod the mounting bracket to fit the IC i picked (same length but much shorter). The original intercoolerhad screw holes on the side and the new IC has holes on the bottom. I flipped the original bracket over to stick up instead of down, then bent downthe mounting bar 90 degrees and re drilled two holes to match the new IC mounting. Goingto mount something like this (MSPaint FTMFW):

Im at work but will get thebracket pic up this afternoon for a better visual.
