8 hours at $100 an hour is fucking rediculous. Please just do it youself, get together and do it, find some members to help you do it. I did it in 8 hours in my driveway taking my sweet ass time, but that included swapping coils.

Everyone is right. For the love of god please don't pay that. Me and a buddy did mine in about 8 hours which included swapping coils, boxing the rear frame, building a custom upper crossmember/shock mount, fabbed lower shock mounts, and cut spring hangers off and welded new ones to the frame. I know that was long winded but I wanted to give you an idea of what can be done in 8 hours... Oh and that included a lunch break haha. If I could, I'd do it for you.

Yeah man. Part of my issue is that I have heard the rear spring installation requires multiple jack stands which I don't have. Plus I don't have a garage (gravel driveway). Definitely going to see if I can get some forum members together though. Like I said, I would provide food, beer and gas money. What thread would you guys suggest? Or is this the most appropriate given that it is location specific?

    Thanks for all the input.

Yeah I don't have many tools myself but my dad has just about everything I could need so I've always used his. There is a member here who does hydrodipping and actually lives in Charlotte and was wanting to do host a mod day at his garage. I can't remember his name though... Maybe someone else can chime in

If any of y'all are not doing anything tomorrow the Forest Service is having the second workday for this year. Food will be provided to all volunteers. Snappy is cooking spaghetti to have at 3pm. If you want to join be at the hunt camp down the road from the outpost at 9am.

Cool man. Whenever works for you! Anything I can bring just let me know. I have a 200 piece mechanics tool set. I'm trying to install coil overs, ucas, the dakar springs, and rear shocks.
