Well they replaced my pulsation dampner (aka press regulator/flux capacitor) and the noise is still there. I brought out a third person to hear it and he agrees that it is possible in engine. He will schedule an appointment with a toyota engineer

actually not abused. It let go for a reason, Toyota thinks my rear axle is cocked which the shackle mounts are bad and twister (un likely) why am I eating carrier bearing every 10k? My transmission mount is trash (something I over looked) what can I do now...nothing. Who's that lmao

Exactly why I really tried not to bring my truck back to Toyota. Even though it's warranty work, it's a colossal waste of time. Hopefully they find your problem and fix it next time!

Even if the rear axle was cocked, universals are well adapted to making slight turns, that's what they were designed to do. I'd be willing to bet you had a bad u-joint or some other underlying problem (stress fracture in one of the parts, etc). Did you throw a weight on the drive shaft? That could explain why you're eating carriers and why the rear let go if it was shaking or has been shaking for a while. Are you using OEM carriers? Aftermarket ones can be junk. While you were away, I went through 2 in under 1k miles.

The advisor I had this time said they ordered the part based on a tsb, not because they heard my noise like I was told after complaining last time. Everybody needs to get together and rehearse their lies.

I would say take it off cam, if that is the OEM one there is a good chance the paint will be chipped on the edge of the hood where the brackets are, mine was.

Damn, that's quick for a u-joint. Mine were still really tight even at 100k miles when I traded it. I replaced the one when I replaced the carrier but only because we had to press it out anyways, figured we're replace it while we were in there but the original one was still fine. The rubber boots were starting to show their age but still in tact.

    Not my neighbor lmao

Come get it. The front half is mint
He has everything, all kinds of shit..I like his wagon
I have used Timken and OEM all OEM were under warranty. The Timken wasn't for some reason, I didn't have the original packaging or something dumb. I had the drive shaft balanced over the summer as I had a bad vibration (I never shimmed my leafs) Seth did so that may have been why, but still? I used Timken because I saw you had.
