No issues with install other than having to go inside because it was too cold. For those of you others who already installed these, does your truck have 2 holes for each of the front most brackets? Mine only had 1.

    So, another quick update:

I received a refund after the second set of rails sowed up damaged, and placed another order directly through Amazon. I chose two day shipping, and the item was supposed to be delivered no later than Wednesday the 12th.

Spoiler alert: I still don't have them. Amazon agreed to overnight another set to me free of charge. We'll see how it pans out. I have now been trying to get this item for 4 weeks. What a disaster.

weird. mine showed up as promised with no damage.

guess it's the "luck" of your shipper, tossing shit around the warehouse, or taking care of it.

    Easy peasy
Mine did not come in damaged at all, but were definitely packed lightly in bubble wrap. Guess I was just lucky.

One man operation, plus a cooler and a card board box as stand in jacks (works perfectly well) key is to know what bolts go where (longs to the body, shorts to the Body Armor) and even torquing. Don't get one side all tight and find out your other side is off by a half inch.

Loving the direction I'm heading, looking forward to that lift and tires in the future. At least now I know that if kids open up there doors into my truck, moms doors going to be worse off. Oh and small rocks, although once again, these are mounted to the body so DO NOT TRUST for serious off roading.

Despite being an odyssey, I was finally able to get rails installed. I also ordered the step pads but after setting them in the steps, I decided to return them. They do look like they're really high quality, but they just weren't the look I was going for. I got a chance to snap a couple pics of them as well.

Installation was not a walk in the park with one person, but once I had a tire tech or two jump on it, the rails were on in no time.

I really like the look of these things. The construction of the items themselves is certainly high quality, but bolting to the body makes these a poor choice if you're actually using them as sliders. Since my front flaps are gone, these serve as a nice "extended flap" to protect my paint. The steps are just big enough for me to stand on while I wash the top of the cabin, and now I don't have to hear short chicks bitch about how hard it is to get into my truck. All in all, I'm happy with this purchase.

Very nice!! I almost pulled the trigger on these but I think that they would look silly on a stock truck...after I install my lift next year I think I will pick some of these up

Cool. How far do you think the actual step is from the bottom of the rocker panel?

I'd say you're getting an extra 2"-2 1/2" lower, or so.

Depending on the size of your company, a lot of the XX crowd enjoy a little foothold that having XY makes you unaware of...

I.E., for *most* of the folks who were climbing trees when we were kids, hopping in, or climbing in, or pulling ourselves up into a cab (of any reasonable height) isn't an issue.

Ask a 4'8", or 5" little cutie about climbing in to a stock vehicle, and the extra 3" step up, especially out a couple of inches in the horizontal plane, suddenly makes it not a giant pain in the ass to get in your "car". And no, not all of them let you boost them in on the first date...

Steps. It's how love affairs are born. Especially near mud.

    Now enjoy. :p
