Well I know who I will be rooting for on Sunday. Hahahaha.

That was a good game. HAve to hand it to both goalies for showing up and making it a close game.

 

Quick was outstanding in that game. Team Canada was really just too good for the US, who lets be honest should rape Finland tomorrow to win bronze

 

Canada's team defence was too much for them, they only had a couple shifts with any kind of sustained pressure.

 

so are there anymore sports left other then hockey we can win gold in? With 10 we would win the standings if Norway doesnt win anymore right?

 

there are still medals in other sports, but none that I heard the US is favored in

So yes Canada stands a very very good chance at taking the olympic rankings again

 

Wow! That's the most exciting 1-0 game I have ever watched. Canada played excellent, dominated our Yankee neighbour, and was simply flying out there. Okay boys, let's go defend our gold medal.

Also, Leafs blew a 4-1 lead - the US blew a 2-1 lead. Math > Canada

True. I think the score and shots on goal tally makes the game closer than it really was. No disrespect intened when i say that many players on the U.S. team did not step up. Canada's defense moved the puck efficiently. The U.S. forecheck was deficient..

Should be a good one on Sunday. Still can't believe the total team effort the guys put out today. As coach Bylsma said" "They came at us with 20 guys, with speed, and for 60 minutes." That seems like a pretty good analysis.

Now, for our American cousins, go out and show the Finns tomorrow that standing 5 deep in the neutral zone is NOT hockey the way it is supposed to be played.
