    Wow what a pain in the ASS!

    So rack came with both inner and outer TREs. So i thought sweet easy swap! .... NOPE Castle nuts dont spin on or off. With some heat and fluids i got ONE castle nut off but fucked up the other one... That means i have to use my old tie rods

    Taking the rack off and putting the new one wasnt bad. But the tie rods on the new'r one were seized to fuck! Finally was able to take the outers off and put my old ones on. .
    i hate tierods so much now sorry mike hopefully you have some better luck. having the two wrenchs right next to eachother while trying to break 200 ft/lb of seized nuts while not trying to put pressure on the rack all at the same time is hard
    If that doesnt make sense since its almost 3am i go sleep

    no like its just a fucking huge ass starter motor..just connected right to the fly wheel..how i have no idea..something fancy no doubt. Would be amazing to know it all for sure....sad how little we will ever see about it..all of them are sold out haha

    there's a couple of different way's it can be done but assuming it's not a PM motor they fly wheel looks like the inside of a electic motor so instead of a gear it has wire wrapped around it and the bell housing is the rest of the motor bam starter and motor all in one.

    Yeah i could be wrong not knowing anything about the car but ive taken quite a few hybrid class's so i do know the basic designs and what i just said is one of them.

    God damn it... I specifically bought an 800 psi regulator because I may need 700+ psi and it just bottomed out at 600 psi...

    Yeah. My regulator has a 4000 psi gauge on the bottle side that is sitting at 2000 psi with a brand new bottle of nitro and a 1000 psi gauge on the delivery side (the specs say it will deliver 800 psi). I hooked up the ORI fill kit and with the kit's fill valve closed, I started turning up the regulator to listen for leaks. Found one at 400 psi so I drained the system and fixed it. Then turned it back on and started turning the regulator back up and the knob hits max, but the delivery gauge is only reading 600 psi...

    I don't think there is another leak because I turned the regulator all the way back down and turned the bottle off and about 10 minutes later the gauges are still reading the same 600 psi and 2000 psi they were before.

    Did you actually try to fill to 800 instead of just opening up the valves with nothing to charge?

    Sort of. Not sure what your average regulator costs, but this one was cheap for an 800 psi regulator. I paid like $120 for it. AirGas wanted like $500 for one that went that high...

    It is charging up the Hydraulic line and fill kit, but it isn't on a shock. If I try to fill the shock that high, I could compare it against the gauge on the ORI fill kit.

    I had the same thought. Sometimes the gauge gets hung up if there is no gas flow.

    Edit: Brady I upgraded to heimed uppers...and my old LT uppers are still in good shape...you should trade me out of them so you can be the 3/4 flying krawler. It'll save you some coin down the road.
