Awesome! Congrats. What year and model is your truck, and what kind of rear leafs do you have or are you upgrading to?

Ok peeps, got a question for you other baja owners.

I've got a shake in the truck most noticeably between 70-80km/h (45-55mph). I've had the tires balanced once and road forced balanced twice now and it has had really no effect on the shake.

The steering wheel does not shake from side to side. It's more of an up and down movement like I'm driving over bumpy/pebble road.

At lower speeds, say 30mph, I don't feel it. But there also seems to be a noticeable shake upon stronger breaking heading to a stop light.

I can hit one of those large speed reducing speed bumps at 40mph and the truck is rock solid. Suspension is silent and plush like butter!

So, I'm thinking what I'm actually feeling is just the imperfections in the road due to the stiffer suspension?

That being said, when the guy had the truck up on the blocks and spun the tires up to 55mph, he said he could feel the shake. So I keep going back to an issue with the tires. After the third balance with no real effect, I'm prepared to live with it!

    I'm blabbing now...

    Anyone with some thoughts?

Now that the TRD Pro version of the tacoma is coming out later this year - I wonder if that will make these suspension kits more available in the future....???

is the TRD pro version all the same suspension components as the TX baja?
Would it be fair to say the trd pro is essentially a tx baja with trd sport features; such as color match rear bumper & grille, hood scoop?

Well, here's my story. The only vibration I've ever felt since new off the lot was accelerating from 18-22 MPH. It was very slight and until I read here on TW about the driveline vibe issue I never even noticed it. However, once I hooked up the 3800 lb trailer, it was VERY noticeable.

Now, I recently put on some Timbren rear bumpstops and not having a torque wrench on hand, I torqued the Ubolts down as much as I could with a 3/4" drive socket wrench and a cheater bar (a section of steel pipe I fit over the socket wrench to get leverage). Since then, the 18-22 vibration under acceleration is much reduced, I noticed it immediately, first time I hooked the trailer up.

Make of that what you will . . . .

Can anyone confirm that the install kit comes with both brackets to mount reservoirs to frame? I just ordered it for $94 and dealer didn't offer the best description so I went for it.

I may not understand what you're asking, but the Baja kit comes with everything needed for the install. This includes the brackets for the reservoirs.

I ordered the kit in bold below and wanted to know if anyone knew for sure that it comes with the 2 reservoir mounts needed for the rears? The hardware kit is only $22 so figured the bushing and bracket kit would be the one with the mounts.

Well after my post above this morning toyota called to say my parts were in. That's the right kit but you need to order 2 of them, one for each side. There's also no bushings in it not that I needed any.
