We had the same thing happen after the wife drove over a large bolt cutter on I25 a couple of months ago. Tire was less than a year old and it chunked it at the side-wall. Done. Thank god for road hazard.

Cosmetic stuff.... best part HomerTaco Raptor Grille. Need to get a lift, armor and lockers.
Do you northern colorado people ever meet up?

I'm new to the area for 1

And in debating a lift and I'm thinking I'll need assistance installing it if I do it on my own. Currently thinking Toy Tec Boss or possibly a fox if the taxes come in alright.

Damn what tires did you have on it.
Yeah, I can't wait to romp the trails with them.
We do meet up we just did a big meet like Lauren. We did a Chicago dog day at my house not very long ago as well. Toytec sells some good lifts. The boss is a nice lift.

Oh nice... Well I'll keep my eyes open on here. I'd like to meet some new people and get an idea of what they have on their trucks.

I've seen that ToyTec is good and Fox and the rest of them... But I've also seen that a lot of people on here are just buying individual parts and making their own lift. I haven't educated myself enough about lifts so I'm thinking more kit than parts. Don't know if that's the right approach or not.

I run the old man emu set up on my runner with billy 5125's shocks in the rear. I would have and would run a toytec lift again. You can give them a call to they are very knowledgable. They also give a little Tacoma world discount and you can save on shipping by going down there and picking up your parts in Northglenn.

Best thing to do is start by deciding what you want your truck to be when it grows up. Baja style with long travel, rock crawler with an SAS, Expedition style, or a mall crawler. From there you can assemble a lift to your liking and all the needed parts thereafter.

I am more of the Expedition style but do like a challenge from time to time. I am running the BOSS coilovers with 700lb. springs for my heavy front bumper and All Pro EXPO springs for the weight in back.

Build threads are usually good reads and should help you out.

Picked up my second DUI in a week....literally this time. Homie legit fell out of the car into the road as he was reversing his vehicle out of a parking spot.

It coulda been worse, I thought for a second someone was getting dragged by the car...it was his wife trying to get in and stop it while his drunk ass was rolling on the ground. He ended up being uncooperative after threatening to kill my children (dafuq kids do I have?) and got some TLC at the jail when he refused to let them uncuff him.
