I just bought this thing yesterday and I cut 3 inches off the frame and followed all the instructions but it doesn't seem to fit right. All the bolts line up but am I supposed to have this big of a gap and it also doesn't seem to reach the end of the fenders. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I also tried calling all pro but they're closed on the weekends.

I feel your pain I've got the same issue with the Apex on my 95. Wish I had a good answer for this cause it's a pretty shitty deal if you ask me.

It does mention a gap on the all pro website but I don't understand why only the all pro has this issue. You would think other brands have this problem as well but I haven't seen any others that have the gap. I'm sure someone from AP will have a better answer.

I was hoping that maybe I got the wrong one but I guess not. It's kind of disappointing as I have been dreaming about getting this bumper for about one year now.

The website says it will have a gap on 95-97 but mine is a 2000 and that's a big gap.

That is odd, I didn't see anything about a gap on your year of truck. I would definitely contact them and see what the deal is. I was pretty disappointed as well, not to be overly nit-picky about it but let's be honest it makes for a pretty ugly gap. I think the front could be cleaned up a little bit with some diamond plate or something but the one by the fender I'm kinda stumped on.

I understand being able to service the winch but not take the whole thing out lol.

I'm not gonna bad mouth them or anything. I'm just gonna have to wait till monday so i can ask them a few questions about the bumper. I'll keep everyone updated.

I'm willing to bet the curve is designed to better match the 01-04 Tacomas, which have a grill that protrudes further in the front.

All-Pro has stated in multiple threads that the fender (side) portion of the bumper was intentionally left short for those who wanted to cut their fenders (or run pre-runner fenders) and run 35's.

Bingo it maybe a first gen design but it was made on to the 01-04 grill style

Well good news. I called allpro today and they were very friendly. I sent them my pictures and let them know what was wrong. They are gladly returning my money and I want to give them a big thumbs up for their great customer service. They are standing by there products and word, and I will defiantly still keep buying things from them. Thanks you to everyone for your response and feedback.
