Yeah but a tube/ hybrid bumper with high contact with material will need constant derping. might as well just get it bed lined. And bed liner comes in many colors. My buddy has a yellow fully bed lined jeep

Then I stand corrected to when it comes to bed liner. I haven't kept up on that product compared to PD. I only remember they ever came in black. But that's cool that you can get them in other colours. BL could be a better bet then PD.

Red plasti dip on all emblems
I used red and black plasti dip with two coats of glossifier. Four gloss coats on the outer grill surround.

Sub'd, use plastidip for a bunch of things, need to get some red plastidip soon. What do people use to make it glossy?

Plastidip sells their own Glossifier that you spray over the Plastidip.

Oh? And the 2 things went well together? Didn't think the gloss would work with plastidip

It worked well for me. I did several coats of each and they've held up well for almost a year

You can also buy glossifier made by Plasti-dip. Spray right over the dip with clear dip, basically.

Hmm, I'll probably go with glossifier so it can still be peeled off

That's what I'd do. I'm sure the other clear coat works well and looms good, but I wonder if it would affect being able to remove the dip.

Yeah, especially since I am going to paint my emblems black and the front oval emblem red, but may want to change it eventually to blue or black. I may just get an extra emblem so I have a red, blue, and black one. Already have 2 oval emblems lol

X2. It comes off like normal, it just adds extra layer of protection and makes it glossy

I had a license plate frame that was chrome and I was too lazy to sand it so I dipped it and bedlined over top

Try WALMART for the glossifier. My local walmarts sell Black, white, and glossifier plasti dip. Then my local HomeDepot's sell the GunMetal, Blue, Red, Black, and White. Im not sure if all the stores sell the same products but this stuff goes quick at both walmart and HD

I'll be plasti dipping my emblems soon and I thought I saw somewhere that you can lightly wax the area around the emblems, not the emblems, to help remove the plasti dip. I searched the thread but saw nothing, might have been visiting somewhere else...Has anyone put a light wax coat on the body area first before the first coat? Or, should I shut up and just spay it?
