Hi I just purchased a 2002 v6 4x4 Trd with 107,000 miles. Im pretty sure the shocks are well past their prime.

Yes i have searched, but i still have some unanswered questions. I've been looking at Bilstein 5100 for the front as they will work for the front. but what about the rear, what length shock do i need for stock TRD leaf springs, and do i do 5100 or 5125?

    Thanks in advance

    Welcome to TW! :)

I would get the OEM size 5100 for the rear. They should know the length you need.

on my 04 double cab....i have bilstein 5100's on all 4 corners.....and thats with a set of 5 leaf pack rear leafs from wheelers. truck rides great with the 5100's......and you will have no problem with them on stock springs.

I've been searching about replacing my stock shocks and was set on Bill 5100s all around, but someone told me the ride was way too stiff and harsh...

I am not trying to lift the truck, and it's mostly used for daily driving.
Would the regular yellow and blue (TRD?) billys do the trick ?
