it pulls air in from the air dam. it don't have any increase in sound due there still being the fire wall between you and the intake. coming from a afe intake its a lot quieter than I am use to.

little bit of a rant...

ordered some adaptor plates from *********.com and paid all my extra shipping and duties to get it shipped to canada (which I indicated in the ordering process). Order went through and then received and email from *********.com requesting MORE money for shipping because, "our ordering system isn't international order friendly." which I felt a little bogus because I paid for the shipping to canada and duties.
so when I told them I'd like to cancel my order because it was going to be way more than what I wanted to pay for I had no reply. Emailed them again and the person replied with, "I'll try and see what I can do, I'm just helping out with replying to emails."
I've tried emailing them again and no reply this time. So I've been had for $55.xx cdn because they charged me for the product, shipping, duties and still haven't received any product nor a reply from them regarding any sort of refund.
Crossed that company off my list

 

If you want, you can modify a Scion tC antenna. Clear reception and not as long as the stock antenna.

 

Call your credit card company or paypal If that's what you used.

 

I listen to the radio every day in my commuter car

In the truck though i still require good reception for listening to the DoT stations when needed.

Gave mine a MUDD bath

Cleaned it up with the nice spring time weather.

 

Put a black bull bar on, and got my A.R.E cap installed. Have to take pics tomorrow only have one of the cap

 

Installed OME 887 coils, Light Racing UCAs and Wheeler's HD 1.5" AAL. Old setup consisted of Bilstein 5100s (front at 1.75").
