and I agree... that barn shot is nice... same with the road leading to the chapel. wished my rejects looked that good

 

Really like shots like this... they just seem to have so much to "say" good stuff

what lens were you using? my 50mm 1.4 is the only one I have that will get suck a shallow depth of field, just get to lazy and like using my 18-200

 

Thanks! The only lens I have right now is an 18-135 Canon lens f3.5-5.6. I am saving pennies right now for a 10-22. Then a 24-105, then a 100-400... Someday. I get a lot of help with my picture taking from the awesome scenery around here.

for what it's worth Mike, my wife likes your work, and she's usually not keen on that kind of stuff...

 

Yeah you do have some nice scenery around there... I rode through (yes rode) in Feburary 2012 on my way to Oregon. went up 15 to Mountain Home... COLD...

Damn. If I had a bike it would be parked October-April. Last winter I pulled a Corolla out of that ditch just left of the road in that second picture. Lol.

hahaha... yah i know, but my agent is getting on my case about not shooting enough girls, and i miss being able to go all over So Cal to shoot in picturesque locations, ya know?

i had to turn down a swimsuit shoot tonight because the girl wants to shoot out in Malibu and it's too far for me to drive... FML...

that's money out of my pockets... argh...

i have an assistant on my bigger jobs that does all the driving and heavy lifting, but even then i end up in pain after about 4 hours of shooting...

what i need is a kidney transplant or some better doctors...

or maybe some stronger legalized meds... hahahaha...
