Looks like the US shot their offensive wad a little early in the tournament.

 

what time is the game? I thought it was 7 est? so 8 my time

Game is at 6 here. I will be sledding over to my buddies cabin tonight cause he has a tv. I will sleep on the couch with the alarm set for 6 am. When it rings i will grab the remote and hit the power button having made sure it was set to CBC the night before. I will walk over to the coffee machine and throw the switch. It will also be set up the night before

Yeah game starts @ 7:00 EST (6:00 central where I am) but you have to wake up at least an hour early to get your pre-drink on. Definitely picking up some Crown Royal Maple for the pancakes.
You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning!

I wasn't keeping up with the hockey today. I had found out that the USA didn't even get Bronze. I find that really hard to believe because they are a great team. I do kind of wish that it was the USA and Canada playing in the gold metal game. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that Finland is a bad team. It's just cool to see the American's and Canadian's kick each others ass.

I just wanted to give a gift to the USA hockey team. It's too bad that you couldn't be in the gold metal game playing against us.

I am autheenticall chuckling . That said, i would not pin this on Kane. Kane is a ridiculously talented player, but by no means a leader. Backes or Kesler should have stepped up. Kane is a side kick capable of stealing the show, but needs a captain. Lets be realistic.
