What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

What's the benefit of this vs simply looping the recovery strap over the hitch pin, or are you doing this to get a hi-lift jacking point?

 

Took advantage of the warmer weather today and greased my driveshaft joints.

 

Better recovery angles and It's safer. It's a solid point whereas the strap has a way more likely chance to slip off of the ball

Not the ball. I was referring to the hitch pin, like so:

 

^^^ at an angle, the edges of the receiver will cut into the strap. In a pinch, this would work. It's just not as safe or convenient.

 

I am the operations manager for a metal fabrication company, and a certified welding inspector (CWI), and that, my friend, looks like outstanding work.

Well I wish I could take credit but all I did was take ideas from other baskets this guy's built and combine what I wanted into this one.

New bumper, winch and led bar.

 

Cut about 4" off my front mudflaps and installed a Receiver Shackle. Also a while back got an Aero Turbine 2525XL installed. Love it so far.

Had the Katzkin seat covers installed yesterday. We also covered the cloth on the door arm rest with Leather. the flash is making them look lighter that they are. the leather is basically the same color as the origional cloth covers.

 

I got the same exhaust set up last year around this time, sounds great a lower RPMs around town but at 2500 RPMs it has an awful drone. Do you have any issues with drone. 2500 just happens to be highway speed too. Just wondering?
