    That's an actual spring compressor designed for that purpose. As well as the way is shown in the king directions. But yeah it was a little sketchy. The bolts like to bend because the spring rate on our trucks is so high.

    So the Runner lift is done. Measurements are from bottom edge of fender lip to ground. Same tires and tire pressure... same spot in the garage. Bounced it around a bunch before measurements.

    Preliminary results: Old/New
    Front
    Driver Side 36.25" / 37.75" +1.5"
    Passenger Side 35.50" / 37.75" +2.25

    Rear
    Driver Side 33.75" / 38" +4.25"
    Passenger Side 33.25" / 38" +4.75


    VERY happy with these results! Still have to fab a panhard drop and decide on keeping my sway bars w/ extensions or pull them out.

    Will take some pics in the morning and post before /after pics - finished up after dark.



    Got some stock 2nd gen 4Runner rear coils free to a good home:D
