A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
He (ABA) curls up in the fetal position on the couch after he closes the pool and stays that way through the winter until he can open it back up again. He doesn't go out.

If you're asking me, no issues.

    Very accurate description..

2wd is fine for me. I barely used the 4wd on my Chevy..and this one is just as good if not better.

I know you have no issues. Ok lets put it this way...How good is a stock DC short bed in the snow with 2wd. This Pre-Runner is good on my slushy frozen mess driveway but how are they in actual snow on the roads in slick conditions? I would get rid of the dunlops quick for a Michelin. or find a black 05 TRD AC Longbed and pay less and may have issue..............

Stick with 245's, get good tires and put 200 lbs in the FRONT of the bed and secured there. Dedicated snow tires would be great but not required. Mine was a stock SR5 DCSB for the first few years and it did fine, even with the Dunflops. You just have to drive differently, make sure you keep momentum on hills, crawl up hills so you don't have to stop at the light at the top otherwise you'll never get going again. The towns are pretty good at getting the roads cleared in New England so as long as you're smart about where you go and when you go, 2wd will be fine. If you have the type of job where you have to get there rain snow, whatever, 4wd might be a good idea.

A fair assessment. I have to get from A to B regardless of the weather, so if I had 2wd I would run dedicated snow tires (rear at least) with weight in the bed.

Very nice! I toyed with getting a 1G 4Runner when I bought my 93 Xtracab, but I only found one that was worthwhile and I wasn't sure at the time I didn't want a bed. How's the frame?

A light blue SR5 is on my lottery list.

Yes the draw back is I can afford the SR5 value pack pre-runner I like the new ness but the TRD is better for my wallet. Really? Well finding an 05 with that many miles now is hard.

    Grats on the family crawler.

Billy, was it you that was going to put an Aeroturbine 2525 XL on your truck? If so did you ever do it?

Anyone in need of or want to try a DCLB exhaust (AeroTurbine 2525XL)? One year old. It is from the spring bolted flange behind the y all the way back and cut off on the downslope after the axle.
I went back to stock (thanks RJ) due to the loudness with my cap on highway trips. Now I just listen to music and half worn 285's :)

    Wasn't me.
Will it fit an AC long bed? Maybe I could adjust the overall length
