Didn't think you had to cut up a BudBuilt or the like to fit the Relentless. I know you will for the Elite.

Not sure. Just depends on whether or not the Budbuilts match up. On the Elite's you have to cut the edge of the lip off the skids. Not sure about the Relentless bumpers since I haven't done it...

I'm just running the stock skid right now. I only had to trim a couple mm's on the front mounting tabs.

Matching a BudBuilt to an Elite bumper, you have to cut roughly 1/4" off the front lip.

My stock skids were too mangled to get back on.... Haha
So it will require cutting? No way it'll mount right up?

If you have a break, you can try bending the front lip in more but I just took a scroll saw to it.

Interesting. If they fit without any cutting I'd be very interested to know. If so, then I'll be ordering some skids!

Are you running the round bend U bolts in the stock config? Any issues?

The U bolts I bought are round and meant to be used with the flip kit, but I don't have time to relocate the shocks yet...

Nope, those are square Wheeler's Offroad u-bolts.

I do not recommend that you use the rounded u-bolts unless they are against the axle.

he should be able to recoup all this money when he sells it though. People would pay $800 for a relentless bumper that they dont have to wait 6 months to get
