I know this is not a Taco but i have been asked a couple of times by a couple of people to put up some pics of my 86 yota so here we go

    1986 Toyota Xcab Pickup “Lafawnduh".
here she is when i first got her

I know she has a few rust spots but I really don’t mind she is just a trial rig

took off the pole holder, and camper shell, and busted a window shortly after i got her

hit the beach for abit. Seems that i didnt have enough wheel speed on our first try to get on the beach and we go stuck had to get a guy to pull us out. Then we Aired down some and tried again. That attempt worked.

    put back together
    S5031543_187eeedcc29b887da2d88ee6f5f281abb67ce357.jpg

i put them at an angle to keep them from touching the radiator.

after i did that move i decided to go ahead and pull the bumper off.

    S5031545_0e0701da415a274542ce5008f27f4b48149bd216.jpg

so the turn signals looked dumb at an angle i flush mounted the turn signals.

the bumper is installed, just need to more bolts put in. Should be doing the Winch soon.
Seems that my CB cable is not long enough and my FWD/REV power is not good.

    here is the bumper

    Photo0291_6ec39ea67676c1305a5d79abd742ae8166173806.jpg
went to Walmart and got some Primer and Paint yesterday, walked outside this morning and the bumper was rusty.

Removed & Cleaned it up abit
    S5031538_68f68e937c070e85ac86b433485ca4c10c92e344.jpg
    Sprayed some Grey Primer
    S5031539_ac14bcf6c74e35b6655ce66ff762f06d43efc708.jpg
    Then painted it Flat Black
    S5031541_8061ed27e50d96d0d139868735100a6286d7a6c6.jpg
    Reinstalled
    S5031543_4e6bbdc41f31f2609800705d0a1f8ec1312f8472.jpg
a shot from the driver seat
    S5031544-1_0477e7eb613b296aaa9637a53f42b0fce63cebde.jpg

Then on to the winch install had to put it in and remove it because of the box placement ended up moving it over the spool, i didnt feel like moving the turn signals again. Also i know its to the drivers side abit and prob should center it in the whole that i cut but i like it there for now maybe later ill move it. Also seems that TG was not kidding when they said the Roller Fairlead does not work with the product. So if anyone has an hawse Fairlead they would like to either trade me or sell me please let me know. or would going that route not be good with the cable?

no prob man, some of the rear bed body damage came from driving to close to a tree

sway bar removal gives alittle turn radius, and alittle more travel. i was told to do it by a buddy of mine. he is one of the guys that i would consider a yota master so if he says take it off i take it off

Damn, that's why it is a built proof motor. I bought my 88 for a c-note. Engine cranks but won't fire. I think my solenoid resistor is bad. I am getting higher than recommended ohm readings
