Expensive yes but it makes sense to me. Have a car 1/2 inch off the ground and this would make things hundred times easier loading.

come on, you cant be that dense. most people wont drive it slammed. its the whole package that makes that pic cool. slammed full size tow rig towing a slammed 4R on a slammed trailer. thats why

its also not a "fad", that would be like saying you dont get the lifted fad, people have been slamming/lowering cars and trucks almost as long as they have been lifting them

 

What would you call it then? Fad was just the easiest word I could think of. I'm not hating on it, it's cool and different. IMO I don't know how people drive them around or do anything with them.

 

a fad implies that it comes and goes, like fashion. i would call it a style, like lifting a truck/making it off road worthy is a style, slamming and lowering is a style.

and well when it looks like the truck and 4R in the pic they are all on air bags, so the suspension is fully adjustable. but i know people that have slammed cars that are almost that low. you just drive it very carefully, when you go over speed bumps or leave driveways you just take it way sideways and come at it at an angle. before anyone calls it stupid, those people that do it have zero interest in say, lifting and wheeling their truck. so they would call what we do stupid. but of course we dont think its stupid, because its what we enjoy. just gotta look at it from the other side. and i dont mean you specifically, just people i encounter in general that are narrow minded about such things

 

I worked at place that sold enclosed trailers and the ones designed for hauling automobiles have a back door that hinges down and you drive up it. We sold enclosed snowmobile/ATV trailers like that too.

I know people how people have to drive when low, my 350 was low enough I had to worry about that also.

ok that is actually fucking stupid. there are like 6 shocks on that back axle

but slammed cars are actually done well (k the good ones) and thought out, and each detail is taken into account and people are very meticulous about it, because thats their thing. its all about making it clean
