    you basically have to go at it from the drivers side wheel well. atleast thats the "easiest" place.

    it is by no means "easy" though.

    nope.

    last time i changed it i used a strap wrench to get the filter off.

    well, i lost said wrench and tried a oil filter wrench (3 prong thing that tightens) and there isn't enough clearance in there to work. great.

    going to return the oil filter wrench tomorrow and get another strap wrench.

    good thing i have access to another vehicle, otherwise i'd be SOL

    yeah i've read about that...how does that work though? im guessing i'm only supposed to get the head in, cause if i get the shaft in (wow this sounds somewhat like sexytime :anonymous:) the driver will just spin.

    or am i doing it wrong.

    Yes you are. Make sure it is long enough to penetrate both sides. Drive it through to the hilt. (This has slightly aroused me, slightly :anonymous:) The closer you are to the end, the easier it will turn with out ripping (the filter).

    Also, do you have one of those jar lid removers? Like a rubber cloth thingy? Those can wok also.
