A crazy combination of key turning, door closing, and button pushing! Haha

Took me about 5 times to get it to work....

The first programming lets you to set the unlock button on the key fob to either unlock the driver door with one push or unlock all of the doors with one push.

    - Open driver door. Remove the key from the ignition.
(Complete these steps within 40 seconds)

    - Insert key into and remove it from the ignition 2 times.
    (IN - OUT - IN - OUT)

    - Close, then open the driver door 2 times.
    (SHUT - OPEN - SHUT - OPEN)

    - Put the key in and remove it from the ignition 1 time.
    (IN - OUT)

    - Close, then open the driver door 2 times.
    (SHUT - OPEN - SHUT - OPEN)

    - Put the key into the ignition and leave it in.
    Close the driver door.

    - Turn the key from LOCK to ON 4 times, ending at LOCK
    (LOCK - ON - LOCK - ON - LOCK - ON - LOCK - ON - LOCK)

    - Wait for the locks to stop, then remove the key from the ignition.
On the key fob, press and release both LOCK and UNLOCK buttons at the same time.

[For all doors unlock] press and release the UNLOCK button.
[For driver door unlock] press and release the LOCK button.

    - Open the driver door. Should be done.

The second program option lets you to set the doors to lock when when the key is turned on, and unlock when the key is turned off.

    - Open the driver door. Remove the key from the ignition.
(Complete these steps within 30 seconds)

    - Put key in the ignition.

    - Close, then open the driver door 2 times.
    (SHUT - OPEN - SHUT - OPEN)

    - Turn the key from LOCK to ON 5 times, ending at ON
    (LOCK - ON - LOCK - ON - LOCK - ON - LOCK - ON - LOCK - ON)

    - Program option (select one of the following)
[Ignition controlled lock ON] Close the driver door.
[Ignition controlled lock OFF] Close the driver door 2 times, leaving it closed.
    (SHUT - OPEN - SHUT)

    - Turn the key to LOCK. Then you should be done. If not, then start over! Haha

Haha I'm just glad to not have to try to hit the button twice in time to make both doors unlock.

What's the difference in all those switches. I'm ordering 6 of them tonight and that same switch panel. There are too many options for one switch

Haha it just depends on what color and what part of the switch you want to light up when it's on.

Independent means that it will light up whenever what you wire it to is on. Such as your dash lights.

Dependent means that it will light up when the switch is on.

I ordered amber upper dependent / amber lower independent. That way the words on the switch will be lit whenever my dash lights are on. And the symbol will light up whenever the accessory is on.

How do you wire them to get lit up when the dash lights are on? I hate wiring with a passion

I'm going to use the wire that went to the light for the ash tray that I cut out. It's just hanging there being unused in the perfect place. Or you can just tap into any of the wiring for the dash lights or where the fuse is for it.

If you hate wiring then I don't suggest you get switches as detailed as these are haha

Well i hate the ugly autozone toggle switches. It's not that I'm bad at wiring. I just hate vehicle electrical. I'm an HVAC tech so like 75% of my work is dealing with wiring
