2015 TRD Pro thoughts

so I saw this the other day when looking for wheels from 2014 fj cruiser...
TRDPRO I personally like the new color, custom seat covers, belstein shocks and grill but as for the rest of it im not sure that it will be worth it all.. any thoughts...

If you buy in Sept of 2014 when it hits dealers you will be only one year from the all new 2016 due out Sept 2015.

 

I think they vehicle has a neat concept I am just interested to see what it will cost. The xsp are already over priced in my opinion so it will interesting to see what they do with the trd-pro.

 

Sorry, but I do. Will not be informed after March as will not be employed then and going to dealer meetings. The new truck will be a 3.5 direct injection and be a 2016. I don't have any other info on it. Should be in dealers abound Sept 2015.

 

Anything's possible, including a new gen for MY 2016. Which may be the motivating factor behind the TRD Pro package--shake up the parts box one more time so buyers might buy a 2015 instead of waiting one more year.

By the time the 2015s (including TRD Pros) start showing up, we may know more about a new gen in 2016, or maybe not.

 

All i got out of it is that ill find a grille from one to slip into mine, Otherwise meh

 

Personally...I love them. My '10 really doesn't need to be traded in any time soon, but if '16 is a new generation then perhaps in '17 these will be affordable (for me) used.

So basically I can make my Sport look like a Pro by just replacing that grill, and get the rims that they've been using on the Baja's and TX pro editions earlier.. Anybody thinking bout using the 4runner pro rims?? I think they'd look pretty BA on a Taco..

 

I would like to see the Pro grill get carried over as the new standard grill design for the tundra and Tacoma trucks. I still think the Current Toyota emblem looks weak on trucks. I have my custom Model T by Andres and get a lot of looks. Just my .02.

 

I'd really like to get that grill for my 2013. And BigE, I do like those 4Runner rims.

 

No sway bar and dunflops on the 4runner? lol

 

Anyone know what the prices are going to be?

 

its pretty much the same as the baja.. so probably baja prices. all the press releases say that will come closer to the end of summer
