Bad-ass 1st Gen

Honestly any functional off roader with a first Gen 4banger on 35's looks out of place. Truth is, and has been proven that these look and with a few add ons perform best on 31's 32's and 33's. Just some guys 2cents.

if you are going to link a rearend, at least tuck the lower bars up closer to the frame. The ground clearance sucks on that thing. It looks amateur

that thing is a shit box, especially for 15k. they would have been better off keeping the stock rear suspension. whatever is on there not is strapped at about 3" of droop. wtf

Just because people do it doesn't mean it looks good. To each his own of course, but I agree that these trucks look better with a mild lift.

lol yeah i do its clean as fuck, yeah the suspension sucks, theres no handling but it's evey pretty clean but no i'm just fucking with you guys

Actually gears will do wonders. There are guys out there running 42's on stock 22r's. All you need is lower gears in the axles and a crawlbox. I've already found the limits to my 33's and am looking to go bigger, soon.

The first time you "rock crawl" it, I bet all those tubes and brackets dangling under the cab rip off.

 

The truck looks nice and clean but that suspension setup is jacked up! Plus its a 4 banger with 35s, probably isn't even regeared...

 

I find it classic that this 'style' of truck is from, none-other, than NC. You RARELY see that around Southern Cal. Kind of reminds me of religion and how it's geographically/culturally based. Go get your Bigfoot on playboy!

 

A 5-speed 4 banger with stock gears handles 35"s just fine.
