    As for food, I'm bringing a Coleman road trip gas grill, and packing a hefty cooler. First day is Centralia,PA so you can google that and close to that point is abandoned Hwy 61, then 61 connects with Shamokin,PA and turn left on PA 125 to get to the Whaleback. If anyone camping plans on consuming alchohol, just keep in mind driving anything motorized or the use of firearms while under the influence will not be condoned. We are all adults, so that shouldn't be a problem.Also stock vehicles with street tires should be able to run these trails just fine. Its like running green trail or easier at Rausch Creek

    Absolutly agree. We don't need someone to ruin the party. Speaking of which, what is the protocol on me bringing my guns.:confused: (I legally own a pistol in NJ and want to shoot it in PA, and needless to say, get it back to NJ).

    As for the plan Sunday, nothing yet, but pavement isn't hard to find. As for transporting firearms across state lines, you should check out the NRA/NLA website for current info, but rule of thumb is to have the firearm unloaded and out of reach and preferably locked, with any ammunition in a seperate compartment.

    I know from MD to PA you can transport firearms legally without a permit as long as they are unloaded with the ammo separate. I usually leave my ammo in my ammo cans in the back of the cab with the guns out in the back as well. I'm not leaving ammo or guns in the bed fuck that. Use common sense and avoid getting pulled over. As for pistols I keep them in a back pack. In PA correct me if this has changed but it is legal to open carry without a permit as long as you are not in a class 1 city Philly, York, Pittsburg, etc.

    When you get to VA remember to pay attention come elections and avoid voting in the same type of assholes we have in MD that prevent us from protecting ourselves in the first place. Otherwise VA will just get ruined too.

    Where I live, it is pretty standard. Go to the PD, apply for it, send in your info, get finger printed...6-8 weeks later, you got a permit. Hand gun permits are applied for separately but in the same fashion.

    I know NY has some serious strict laws on that but I think PA is a little more lax.

    That is what I have heard before, basically do what you can to keep it all on the DL.

    VA = :infantry::laser::fenforcer::quickdraw::poking:

    I plan to keep eveything seperate, locked, and out of sight.

    Looks like im in. As long as nothing comes up. I'll bring my AR, my ccw (walther pps) and that's about it. Maybe my m96 Swedish Mauser. I'd bring the 50 but it's too long to fit across the back seat. I'll bring my tent too. Hopefully it dosnt get too cold.

    Alright so I'm going to be making it up there on the Saturday not Sunday sorry Dennis, I have to be up early on Monday for a work meeting so Saturday works out better. What time are you guys going to be at Centralia? I still plan on being up that way around 10am.
