    9/2/14 Edit: 4.3 Vortec installed, NP3500, custom NP233 transfer case, high pinion dana 44 SAS with ARB, 4.88 gears, bobbing the bed, 5" lift, boxed rear frame, custom s10 fuel tank mount, etc. 12/16/13 Edit: Currently tearing down a 2000 Blazer to transplant the 4.3 Vortec and 5spd manual transmission (NV3500 I believe) into the Taco. It'll pass CO emissions when done. Planning to post a thread once complete. E-Locker, budget CAI and exhaust, Warn Powerstation, Addicted Off Road bumper, ToyTec OME w/AAL lift, aftermarket stereo w/10 inch subwoofer (only cool when you realize how I fit it in a reg cab truck), dual lexus horns, roll bar, off road lights, CB radio, Powertrax Lock Right locker (front diff), ejecto seat, laser/phaser/ion ray gun, oil slick, heat seaking missles...
    How much are you figuring for curb weight once it's all done? 100 ft of DOM seems heavy, even minus some for tooling jigs and practice.

    But seriously, boat sides are started.

    Rather than having to work around the body mounts, I cut the rocker panels off and tacked the tube in place. I have 2 legs tacked on well enough that I could cut off the body mounts. The legs will be right where they need to be so the cage ties in real nicely. I'll do the same for the front once the rear is roughed in.
