Not necessarily, some people have the money, but if you can pay over 12 months
why not, keeps more funds for rainy days.

I get paid within 48hrs, and it's through the car care one program, as a SEMA member I get programs made available to me through them.

I dont think you should get into it mcm. If people really want your kit they should just save up. Its basically the same as financing except the cash stays in the buyers pocket till they can afford it. I think your going to get a lot of shady people trying to screw you over.

No real way for them to screw me over though, they have to apply for it based on their credit, if they don't qualify, they can't do it. The biggest difference between this and just a personal card, is that I will be able to offer incentive programs.

So you get payed in full and a bank takes care of the dirty work?

Just because they get approved doesnt mean they wont try and come short on payments.

Yes, and the nice thing is I can offer the incentives over and over, so if they pay off one purchase, they can come back for future purchases and get the same program incentives. Obviously if they don't pay, they have to deal with the consequences on their credit, etc.

Toss up. The potential clientele that you would attract might be less desirable.

You really think ones credit reflects how responsible they are? :p

Good concept, I just suspect those who actually have any understanding of how to manage their money wouldn't bother financing something like this and those who would won't have the credit to do so.

Oh wait your good, the parents will fund it for the little brats..... Do it Do it Do it :D

hmmm didnt know that. I have an auto so it'd probably be even worse. I've heard they rob a lot of HP too. maybe i'll just rebuild mine. I guess it's been through a lot. having 4wd would make the swap even worse

Just rebuild yours, you will spend so much money doing a swap for only small gains.

    Yes
Car Care One is GE Financing it is a real credit card zero risk for the retailer except for the usual small percentage paid on the sale and a ton of shops already accept it or offer " in house " financing through it. 4WP, SDHQ, Discount Tire etc all use Car Care One. They offer great interest free specials but you will get sacked with with 30% APR on the promotional balance if you miss the deadline IE: 18 months interest free. You are not forced to accept the interest free specials you can choose reg terms with reg interest too I believe. It is a huge step for a small shop to grow their revenue by offering financing and will undoubtedly grow your business MCM.

probably have to stay factory tranny to stay smog legal, i just did a transgo shift kit in mine and soon its own fan and cooler. heat is the killer and the kit improves flow and pressure.
I think this is a good tranny and can be rebuilt for good performance IE(turbo toyotas/lexus)

I will go Th400 when i go LS also...

im not really trying to gain anything. just trying to figure out if the money would be better spent on a tranny swap than rebuilding my current one. Manual would be nice but id kind of have to learn how to drive again as lame as that sounds. i like the auto

After researching a bunch today im hoping that the fix will be as simple as a flush. the cooler i got was used so it may have had some junk in it. i dropped it off at a shop tonight
