Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
I'm already running a 4 1/2" bumpstop...I am going to see where I am at when I get the expos in and this shock mounted. No idea what I'm going to need till it's all together and stuffed.

Have fun trying to stuff expos, hope you have a fork lift or a backhoe ;)

Just to update my experience with the brackets, they have held up very well.

1.5" spacers on the rear with OEM FJC wheels and no rubbing between the tire and the 2.5" shock body.

After LOTS of compressed/extended testing, multiple measuring and lots of eyeballing this was where I found the bottom mounts needed to be.

    Tight clearances on my targets.

    Came together really well.

Damn your truck is so clean. Haha I haven't had a black frame or springs in a loooooonnnggggg time. But looks like your lowers came out about where mine did too. Pretty close to 2" center of the hole if I remember. I see you had to bring the edges off the lowers as well. I grinder mine down then too it out for some test flexing and still hit the lower part of the shock so now I got a little gash in one.

Right but I figured out if I spaced the lower mounts with thick washers, one on each side of the misalignment (inside the mounts), that the lower portion of the shock cleared without contact. Then I tacked the mounts in place.

Now Jerry needs to come up with a bolt on skid for these lower mounts so we can buy them from him. Can't mark up the anodizing ;)

Has anyone mounted anything other than the King shocks in the relocation bracket? Would, say, 12" Icons fit in the relocation bracket? Anyone tried anything different?

Yes sir. I had to cut the uppers and lowers. The 2.5 shock body damn near takes up the whole inside of the upper mount so I had to cut the edge down about 1/4" where the hole is cut for the resi tube. When the shock pivots it was gonna hit it. I actually ended up cutting it twice but I got it right. Haha I also moved my lower mounts about as far out as I could to get the shock body out away from the upper mount. It works out since the mount sits straight up, the edge of the mount is cut tappering in towards the frame starting from the top and moving down, and the shock is slightly angled outward.

This was the top mount before I trimmed it ......
    uploadfromtaptalk1393438421150.jpg

Bottom mount I had to trim off some of the edge because it was contacting the rod end. I trimmed it twice also, first time I was clearing so I did a test drive around the block and came back to a small gouge in the rod end so I trimmed it some more

This was the bottom mount before I trimmed it .....

Nice work Gideon! I would prefer 2.5s but dayum that's a lot of trimming to make em fit.

Not too bad. Just cut them before you put the brackets on and your good. That shouldn't be a deciding factor on 2 vs 2.5s at all

Does anyone have a center bolt to top of bracket measurement? I'm trying to see if 12" Icons would fit in the relocation kit.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
It all depends on where you mount the lower mount everyone has been different so that number is going to send you in the wrong direction.

My doors are the only stock things left besides the headlights
so when u guys are cutting off the stock shock tower locations are these new brackets basically replacing the oem ones? like stock u have one leading and one trailing shock or are you moving them both forward? im pretty sure im going to go this route this is my only question I got honestly

You can set them how you want really but we have mounted them all forward of the axle.
