the only thing is i have a tire gate as my tail gate so i think that could be a problem

 

It doesnt latch to the tailgate, you attach bolts to the side of the truck bed on the inside and you latch it in that way. ill post some pictures in a little.

 

I might be interested in that skid plate. Just changed my oil and realized my new TRD Sport hardly comes with anything for a skid.

 

There was a mud hole behind the "Airport Animal Hospital" we used to hit all the time after school in high school. I'm sure it's still there. might be some trails where the movie theater is on bayou blvd. Used to be a decent hill to climb there before that theater was built.

 

There was some swampy stuff behind the walffle house in pace right at that first light past the causeway in that power line cut. we managed to get all three of our vehicles stuck there once in high school.

Got all three vehicles stuck again in a place we called "Dixie Land" in gulf breeze right past the zoo on the right. They've closed it off since but looks like someone has since blazed a new trail into it. We ended up using a rope tied to a tree then wrapped around a friends CJ-5 wheel that was up in their air to do a makeshift tire winch deal. we got him out but he was too light to pull the other two trucks out. and it got dark. Lost my front mudflaps in the hole i was stuck in that day. it was fun until I ended up high centered in a mud hole.

 

Honestly I need to talk trucks with someone cause I'm pretty sure my girlfriend is tired of hearing about it, and I can't stop.

 

Are you in Pensacola? You are welcome to come take a look at it. I'll be in Eglin for our offroad meet tomorrow and will spend time Sunday studying but just let me know when you wanna take a look at it.

hey does anyone know if the trail we are taken tomorrow is gonna be muddy or is it just gonna be a trail?

 

I know it, they are everywhere. Not nearly like San Diego though, every other spot seems to be filled by a Tacoma. I guess military men, and women, have good taste. No pics of mine, it is a silver 1st gen xtra/access cab with a gator rear plate and 2.62 window decal (best way to ID it), with nothing special added. Have yet to see the same combo.

I'll keep my eyes out for it next time I head towards the east gate. I have never heard of nor seen the TSS package, I'm guessing it is a local promo; I forget the name of the current package the local dealers offer, with bling-ish rims and such, perhaps it is that.

 

ill have to keep my eye out to see if I see yours , that TSS decal is an aftermarkt decal, just like my TRD All Terrain decals. My baby is always parked in the parking lot by the EOD school by the East gate...youll see her

 

hey bosshoag idk if you were with us yesterday but i have a 06 tacoma quad cab lwb silver on 18" rims but what makes mine stand out is the tire gate on back and the big front bumper but the bumper in the front got bent down yesterday so i gotta fix that but if you see me flag me down and we can talk

I didn't make it yesterday. Tax season man, monday through saturday preparing tax returns for 60 hours a week. Looking to join up if yall do this again sometime after April 15th though!

it completely got shredded apart there are chuncks broke off the actual lil bearing parts the lil piece of plastic that held the bearing together on the inside half was gone it was bad it cost 550.00 to fix lol still gotta fix bumper and abs light and rotors lol
