:anonymous: Welcome to the club brother.

I'm glad all you have is a sore wrist and forearm.

Know we just met (sorta), but I don't pass on an opportunity to thank a LEO for their service. What you guys do and deal with takes courage, smarts, and dedication. I salute you. Thank you.

I did man. The doctor uses two different offices and did sent us to the wrong office however so we got to drive an extra 50 miles (round trip) I otherwise wouldn't have had to do. Which wasn't really cool at all. When I made it to the other office the staff people that checked us in were like it's your fault so you'll just have to wait. I'm ultra laid back but that did get under my skin. Shortly after we sat down the doc comes walking through and remembered telling us to go to his other office and moved us to the front. +1 to him for being a stand up guy.

I'm digging the 6x6 Rob. It looks to be in decent shape. I'll be looking for some action pics once you get it out riding & doing stuff with it.

I gave up wondering about dates, days & time years ago. I set my alarms & reminders with what I'm supposed to do and forget about it. At any given time I couldn't tell you almost what month it is....and I don't even care anymore.

This sucks man. Not just the feeling of "getting old" part but, the constant knowing you have nothing but conflict to look foreword to in your career. I couldn't do it.

Morning Rob. After staying up all day yesterday I actually got to sleep a full night...first time in a while.

Did you put any miles on the 6x6 yesterday?

Today we're gonna be getting a timing belt changed on a 1997 T100. It's only got about 50,000 miles and has been garage kept since new. It's like a new 17 year old vehicle. Jumping from it to my truck, though about the same size, is a big difference. I was going to do it myself but, opted for the local dealer to do it instead.

I'm Sunday thru Thursday but almost always work on my days off. I just took yesterday off after working 14 straight days.

#2 engine...reminds me of working on it at Edwards AFB back in '91 in 40 mph winds and the temp was about 20 degrees.....dont miss that at all.

I'm bringing it home Wednesday morning due to the sellers and my schedules. The pic is the one he had emailed me.

T100 sounds like a nice ride

I think I'd have the timing belt done too; sometimes it's worth paying the guys who do it regularly and have the right tools. Plus if it goes wrong they are liable for making it right. As Dirty Harry said, "A man's gotta know his limitations." ;)
Curious, does it have a belt or chain? IIRC my 2.7 is a chain.

Just checked my Chilton's manual, both the 4 & 6 cyl (05-09) have timing chains.

Damn. Until you posted these I was 100% certain it was a belt (I'm still 99%) but, now I've gotta do some research (yea I'm that guy). I'd be a nice savings if you're correct & I'm wrong (I hope that's the case).

That's a fact, I've been wrong enough to know I need to listen up then double & triple check. Kills me are the arrogant people that think they should never be questioned.
