    Still brand new.
Im assuming this is a result of the economy. Partnering with a friendly fellow manufacturer will help decrease total investment costs. It will be interesting to see how they worked out the profit sharing in this partner ship. Seems like a low risk, low reward but maybe a basis for bigger sport cars later on.

Im think celica-esq with a boxer engine... competing with Tiburon and Eclipses of the world. Still keeping my fingers crossed for a SUPRA comeback.

Borla Catback Exhaust, Snorkel, 33s on either 16's or 18's, ARB Bumper, All Pro LT w/Walker Evan Shocks front and back, All Pro expedition leaf pack, 10,000lb Superwinch, Intake Manifold Spacer, Bed Rack with ARB RTT, Rotopack and Hi Lift mounted, Husky Liner mats and an air freshener from 1995.
    Exactly what I was thinking.

Although a cheap sports car that you can throw an STI blower in from a wreck store would be wicked. :D

none except for crappy hub caps and floor mats.
I'd imagine the reasoning behind this is because Toyota is increasingly becoming synonymous with bland and boring. Hardly any of their cars are anything more than bread boxes on wheels. They really need some cars that are appealing to car enthusiasts.

Toyota actually bought GM's percentage of Subaru ownership awhile back, although I don't know how much the percentage was.

Hoping for either a car to compete with the new Genesis, or a new version of the MR-2, which the boxer engine would be really well suited for.
