Yea I drove right through but he was not lifted and bottomed out. I figured I'd pull him out but not the case so I moved around to the back and tried that. After so many tries I thought we should go get something to help us out but when I tried to pull out I was stuck. It was at that point I knew I needed to get better retrieval gear.

The problem with maine being so cold and all is if that mud is not frozen to the bottom. And you ended up in that mud somehow you would be literally up shits creek when you got stuck. That being said with an inch of powder it would be fun, much more snow than and it would get really unpleasant.

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
Winter wheeling is best reserved to a "more-travelled" road, where the recoveries are just good fun and wrecking your truck isn't a concern. IMO All Wheels will eat a vehicle and shit out its occupants in its current state.

^thats why the RI spot is a great snow wheeling spot, a few of us know the trails pretty well.

Yeah iv only done all wheels once and that was last fall. I figured that would be the general consensus though. I guess i just need to patiently wait for spring to get on some good trails.

Sorry, I am in "packing mode",leaving early next week......that is why I "volunteered" Yota :p..

A couple of the "Original ENH" guys gave me the heads up to these way back when; just long enough to take that "itch" away but with plenty to do along them....Sno-shoes or cross-country skis would make either of these "adventures' not just "rides"..;)

I'm definitely chilling until the spring. I have a slew of parts to install and then it's hell raising time.
