Whoa just realized they were for 17's not 16's, surprised you wanted that in the 37 when the 40 is a 17 also. Maybe Alpine is wanting 40's

If I was sasing it, I would consider a 40. 37" 17" is the max I'll go on ifs. It's a massive amount of tire. Even compared to the 35.

Longfields are for Toyota solid axles. They don't make anything for IFS. RCV who makes longfields for trail-gear make some IFS axles though.

I'd rather break cv than shred the diff. I'll leave the weak point as an easily accessible easy trail replacement part (cv shaft)

Thanks Mark I didn't know, I've seen RCV products and they are badass but never personally tested them.

I've been reading conflicting reports from the RCVs.
Those tires look damn good Jamie.

Ordering up some more stuff for the crawler from Total Chaos

Upper coil bucket gussets. Double shear will greatly increase the control arm mount. And prevent bending of the coil bucket.

Lower cam tab gussets. The factory alignment tans are very thin. It's easy to flatten them out when you're running larger tires, or the stress from getting gnar with your long travel.

Also going snag another set of 2" extended axles. Great to have trail spares.

Visit www.chaosfab.com whether you're looking for aftermarket factory length control arms, or wanting to upgrade to long travel! Do it do it get long travel :D
