    But you have to reach around the seat or flip the seat forward to get them out, i just open the door and grab what i want.

    I was really happy with the 4 doors during duck season, dog, waders, jackets, and ammo in the back seat and the guns in the bed. Tons of room.

    Arguing double cab over extended cab is pointless. Everybody has their preferences.

    I like the longer bed of the extended cab for storage and I'm sure I'll enjoy it when it comes time to move stuff like a fish tank and many other things from Texas to Missouri.

    But there have been a few times that a double cab would have been nice and would be nice to have in the far off future...

    From a purely wheeling standpoint I prefer the extended cab though.

    For the long run, it would for me. Other's don't want or need a truck that big.

    For now, the extended cab is perfect and will be just fine for at least another 5 years.

    I have the same feeling at times up here. But loved it in New Mexico and when it was snowing here.

    I've just only ever owned a truck and can't get over it. I'd take a little beater car for a daily driver though.

    It'll be nice when the gf and I get married. Then we'll have her car and my truck.
