I have loved the look of the 50" led light bar but never considered one because $600+ for lighting is obsurd to me, but I have found that ebay has a Chinese version for $250 with free shipping and very good reviews. Does anyone have experience with these?

    Check the TTORA Garage Section....
    CREE LEDs?....overall wattage, illumination value.....

I just brought and mounted 3 small LEDS with CREE emitters, works great...I bought 4 at $115.
    Would I try a 50" ?
Yep...but I would get something smaller.
Where do you plan to mount and how will you mount it.

Mxer256 I don't think people have a tape measure. seems lately that people are looking into 50'' for 1st gens they are way to long.

x3, wouldn't it hang off the side?? i thought the 42's were preferred and 50's were for the newer jeeps and full sized pickups

Yeah 42 is as big as you can fit without custom brackets to let the LightBar hang off the sides. People don't take the time to go measure though lol

50" was a generalization. Long enough to go across my roof. I haven't ordered or done a lot of research so I haven't measured.

We'll a 42" is a big as you'll be able to do...unless you get custom mounts made so a 50" hangs off the sides

A 42" is perfect for a 1st gen. Anything longer will hang over the side of the roof.
