Eye contact when speaking

I'm doing this little study and would like some input.

Maybe a poll would work but if you have any other input I would like to hear it.


So, do you look at the person in the eye during conversations?

If not where do you look?

 

I make an effort to , yes

 

i make eye contact, but glance away every so often so as not to intimidate or be too intense.

 

I do mostly, but I will try to not lock eyes with them if it's more than a few seconds.

Always, but not to stalkerish lengths. I generally don't trust people who can't look me in the eye.

 

Depends on the situation.

If it is something work related, I maintain eye contact.

If it is personal, sporadic eye contact.

If it's a lady, never above the neck.

 

I try to intimidate people so I occasionally slip in the Belushi stink eye

 

That's how I feel. Especially during a job interview I think it can make a big difference. Don't stare or intimidate but be able to look someone in the eye.

 

I look at the eyes but always drift towards zits or moles and yes..... the boobs.

 

I never blink.

And when the other person is talking, I rub my crotch and mouth the words, "you're dead..."

Lmao this turned funny quick. My high school focused a lot on speaking during power points and presentations in general. So we learned everything from syntax, speaking tone to eye contact and facial queues.

As said earlier, professional and business occasions you must maintain eye contact. But not in a way to seem creepy. Raining relaxed and animated. But not distracting
