Yeah me too. It would be a lot more fun sitting on the couch instead of sitting at a computer.

I know that. I was just saying since he brought up the mmo on console.

I've been getting beta codes but have yet to play it.

It's a lot of fun. And now that the NDA is lifted I can talk about it. It will not translate well to the console. There are just too many functions that will be too clunky for it to be semi playable. I do wish they could make a good console MMO but it looks like Destiny and The Division are going to be about as close as we can get. Consoles just aren't made for MMOs. I tried FF and it is good on the pc but horrible on the PS3. You can download the beta version of it on the PS4 right now (not sure about xbox) but it isn't worth it to even waste your time.

diablo 3 made a huge transition to console and played well. i think there will be a way to do it, just going to take some manipulating

There arent enough buttons on a console controller for an mmo to work as well as it should.

But since we brought up Destiny and I'm super excited about it.. what class are you guys gonna be

I'm thinking either and exo or human hunter. Ill be a hunter just dont know which race

I completely agree with you on Diablo. That is one of the rare games that plays better on the console than the computer. Blizzard completely fucked the computer version by having to always be connected to the Internet and the RMAH. But since they are doing away with the RMAH it might be better. I use a G13 game board and run a script that let's me move the character with the joystick so the console port felt right at home to me.

Like Coma said... There just aren't enough buttons on a controller to make a viable MMO. There are just way too many skills that need to be used at a given time and you can pretty much throw targeting out the window if you play a healer. All your heals would pretty much have to be AOE. I tried FF on PS3 hoping that it would work. It didnt.

I honestly haven't looked at it enough to even decide. It's so far away that it seems like it will never get here.

i didnt think d3 on pc was bad. i didnt mess with the AH and played just like i used to in d2. i never ran into internet issues acting up either though so i thought it was great.

    ive never played ff.

i stopped following the new games a while ago. ill just buy them when they come out if i feel like it. (so much truck stuff i want)

maybe but its still nice having the info
Supposedly it was leaked as April 1st but we all know what that is so it could be a troll or not.

Also April isnt really summer and I'll be pretty bummed since I wont get to play as much as if it was the summer

I didn't think it played bad either. Especially since I use a game board it was fine. I enjoyed the game but it's like SimCity (my daughter loves that game) having to always be online to play a single player (if you want) game is stupid IMO. I understand why they did it but the AH didn't work out like they wanted so now there really is no reason for the always online requirement. I know they can't change that now but that was my only complaint about the computer version.

It looks so much better on my computer than the PS3 version but it is nice to just sit back with a controller and play it with your feet kicked up. The really did do a good job with the port and I actually enjoyed it better on the PS3. I almost wish I hadn't sold my PS3 just for that game but it will come out for the PS4 later so hopefully the expansion will launch with that version also.

Yeah I hope it isn't April also. I'm like you and would bet Summer since it is a Sept. release. April would be bad because I'll still be fucking deep in Titanfall and ESO comes out on the 4th. Don't get me wrong... I would push those games aside to play Destiny but April will be a busy month :)

is ESO gonna be a yearly subscription? i stopped following it too but will play it! i have always like the elder scroll games. ive played from morrowind, oblivion, and skyrim. which morrowind was awesome! you could literally do anything in that game and it was huge.
