If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
Bring your suspension stuff too, so we can bang that out

    Sweet, thanks man!

You should just need a new donut gasket that connects the Y-pipe to the cat back. It shouldn't be too hard to get it apart and back together.

I will, but I still don't have a new leaf pack (or AAL) yet.

True, you could set the Billies low, and then crank em up once you get an AAL or leaf pack...

Or just go Bro Lean

Yeah but there's 5 different exhaust gaskets and they don't know which to order until I have it removed

lol, there's only one for that section of pipe, and it's the same for all the 2nd Gen models (2.7l, 4.0l, 2wd, 4wd).

    OEM Part# 17451-0A010

Heh, I called two other shops and they gave the same response about not knowing. I don't think any of them have that picture.

Toyota in Salem was the only one who knew at the time and wanted $40 for the part

Thanks for the pic, I'll get on it tomorrow

I think 5100s and 885s at zero will get me 2" or so. Not sure how brochacho I can roll - I'm gonna need some convincing.

Big props to Wheelers - tracking # says me brake goodies are gonna be here Thursday. :headbang: I should probably call Dan again tomorrow and get an AAL on the way.

You don't have any synth line for a winch available do you? My buddy with the jeep who came with us is looking for some. He may wait if the price was right.

lol, those funny parts counter guys. Only reason I know is from researching what Y-Pipe gaskets I needed and staring at the diagrams and cross-referencing part #s for about an hour ;)

Not trying to pressure you or anything man :D

BUT...if you do want to put 'em on now, I'll be the devil on your shoulder

I could put one together for $2.75/foot..

But it's going to be a couple of months..

I'll talk to him to see what the price and length he wanted and if it would be cost effective. He may be interested in fixing up the sliders he has too...

I know it'll be in May, but that's when the good wheeling hits back up

I would like to make it to this little install meet, and coincidentally, I will be driving over this weekend. Unfortunately, I will be catching a flight out of Seatac Friday and returning Sunday to go to California to meet my nephews.

For suspension work, Ben can show you how to safely get a spring out without a spring compressor. All it costs it Session Black for beer. For Andrew and Brady, they like to sip on Widmer Ommission, or any of the other wheat free beers. Red Bridge is not very good as a beer, but it is wheat free. Maybe consider getting some hard ciders for them.

Friday and Saturday anytime after 9am would be best. I'll be running back and forth between the shop and house to tend to my kids in the afternoon. I'll shuffle some project cars around and we should have plenty of space to work on trucks. I have mostly hand tools, very few air tools, a parts cleaner, and a modest supply of other products-brake clean, grease, lock tight..ect If you need anything else, bring it along(such as lawn chairs). I have plenty of gas for the BBQ(I think).

I look forward to meeting everyone and doing some wrenching. If you have any questions or need directions, just give me a call.

I have a lady doing mine. Cost me a bit more than HR Block did, but I got a LOT back seeing how I expected to pay this year. Having the house rented out in KS really helped me out though. Ended up making me seem like I went negative on it.
