    cool, LSU owns land out there. That's where I stayed most of the time. I had a really good time out there, especially out at night in town. Weather is definitely a lot cooler out there during the summer, but I could have done without the random hail storms while trying to hike.

    It's so bipolar here. It'll be 100+ and then snow in the afternoon lol. Lately it's been:

    Oh mah gerd hot, then, oh mah gerd FIRES EVERYWHERE, and then oh mah gerd FLOOD ALL THE THINGS! And I'm sure within the next few months at the rate we're going so be cover all the things with snow!

    I remember playing in snow in late July near Buena Vista. I say "cooler" it was over 100 most days, but very dry, making it very manageable, and the shade actually made it cooler. The humidity really makes a difference down here.

    Yeah that's what I like about here. I'm much more into dry areas, I don't like humidity.
