yup! the local club had a night run on carnage canyon, which I instantly wanted to do after seeing the pics, and I realized I needed some rock lights. So i had to get that taken care of

midnight in the desert? How cool is that?

i have been trying to say that for 2 years...but NOOOOOOO...night runs aren't cool...till a jeep does it...what a poser you are.... haha

 

Can't wait to see how bright they are. I've got to see how bright the lights I'm using are to see how many I'll need. I want it to be a uniform amount of light, so we'll see...

 

just get more then you need. You can re use the spares all over..the RTT..Bed rack..Bottom of tent in annex...hood...all over.

Hard to take photos of lights to show how bright they really are..especially since mark uses a cellphone..lol

 

OH GET OUT!! I have always loved night runs and you know it! Who was the last guy on the trail with you and your dad in wyo? mobbing through the trees in the middle of the night? That one slick hill climb on the way out was crazy, we were all going fast and bouncing every where and almost tipping over. I think gage almost shit his pants a couple times that ride back

you are the one who has a problem with keeping your speed under control at night!

see im not nearly as ocd...so ill position them to shine more over the front and back axle, and if its not perfect in the middle, oh well

True, it's hard to judge what's bright with any camera unless the setting are exactly the same...

16-20 is over kill and will cost you 250 bucks lol. but if you want to plaster led strips everywhere...go for it haha

see...im not crazy with the lights now am i? Imagine being in the middle of Shoshone in the dark with just head lights and my LF240s and flashlights trying to fix Jons truck in the rocks....thus...my obsession of lights was born..

 

gage can attest to it...you should have seen how fed up I was with trails made up of nothing but small rocks at 12 am when I have to leave right after.

I was going insane, just wanted to be off the trail at the half way back point. was awesome till then, but after that point i hit a switch and went cooky, and gage was weary of my fast driving through the tight trees in the darkness
