They would have to give me an update the size of the actual game every 4 months for me to pay that much.. I'm not gonna pay the price of a new game to play the same game unless something is new

Yeah... It's $15 per month. If it follows the path of most (WOW not included) it "might" go FTP within a year or so. Which really means it's not FTP but it keeps people playing and buying. I'll gladly pay the $15 per month because I get hours of enjoyment out of it. Hell... I used to pay $15 a day for a 12 pack of Fat Tire when I drank so $15 per month is nothing lol.

i hear ya on that. those mmo are massive games though and have a bunch of different play throughs but the cost is what kills it for me. where console games are supported for a long ass time before being condemned as far as online gameplay

Don't count on that to happen but... that said, MMO's have always and will always be a "time sink". It's all about the loot and if your hard core into it the raids and shit like that. I've spent $1000's on MMO's since WOW came out in 2004.

Yeah I gotcha.. just $180 a year to play the same game plus the $60 it costs at start is a lot.

    I don't disagree with that.

I suppose the way I look at it is like this. If you go out to eat at a fast food place 2 times will most likely cost you around $15. It costs $.50 per day to play. If I play 2 hours it costs me $.25 per hour. Now that said... there will be days that I might play 6-8 hours so the cost is really non existent for the amount of entertainment I get out of it. That's just how I justify it. It's like every hobby, everything costs money. Just depends on what you like.

I've got friends that have $50,000 Ranger Bass boats with 225HP Outboards on them to go out and catch a fucking fish. Quite honestly I didn't know fish could swim that fast? It's all in what you enjoy and what your priorities are.

Yeah... I think the way I look at it is like this. After all the bills are paid and your family (if you have one) is taken care of then spend the shit! You can't take it with you and you're not guaranteed tomorrow so enjoy it while you can.

    Fucking hell... One more week.

PS4 is outselling the Xbox One 2 to 1 but I would buy a Xbox just for Titanfall much like "The Last of Us" was a PS3 must have. I've thought about a digital download but I like having a actual "physical" copy in my hand. I guess I'm old school?

I'm trying to figure out what to do for a week?
