Hey All, My first post here, hopefully not the last.
My next new truck is going to be a Tacoma double cab. I've been driving a Nissan Frontier crew cab for the last 9 years....no complaints with it, I just want to go back. I've owned Toyota trucks before but it's been many years.
My question is "What would you do? Buy '09 closeout, (if there are any)
or wait till the 2010s come out?"
also...Does anyone have any inside info on the 2010s? ...and when do the new models start to arrive at the dealerships?

    Thanks

If it was me, I'd go with a 2009 closeout. Save some cash.

I'd go with a 2009. The only difference between the 09's and 10's, supposedly, is going to be different cup holders.

09 for sure unless you want a redesigned cup holder as colton mentioned, there's a thread explaining the differences and there's not much

Buy an 09 now, or wait until the Tacoma is redesigned.

I'd look to see if anybody has a new '08 anywhere. Assuming they don't, I'd get the '09. Nothing worth waiting for on the '10.

OK, I'm going to my local dealer tomorrow to start looking around.
Are there any options that you would or would not recommend?

Many people don't feel the JBL audio is worth the extra money.

Depends how pick you are. With the 09 you'll get limited configurations floating around right now. With 10 you can pretty much get what you want.

Check http://www.toyota.com/byt/pub/init.do to see what configs are in your area.
    '09 are carrying a $1k rebate.

Go with the TRD sport or Off-road. The seats alone are worth it over the SR5 PreRunner.
