Ok so I have been debating for a long time about getting the spidertrax 1.25" spacers. I see them up for sell pretty often and wonder what peoples experience with them are? Why are people always selling them? I have the SCS 6 Stealth wheels and curious as to if they will be ok to use with them.

Do you still get the same turning radius?
    Are they worth the look?
Whats the pros and cons to having these?
Will I scrub less or more with them?
Any alignment issues or alignment needed after install?

    Thanks for all your help.

I ran my SpiderTrax for just over a year on stock Sport rims and 255s. Never had an issue with them. I'm also running Stealth 6 wheels now with 35s and no longer need/use them. Are you rubbing with your Stealth 6 rims and 265s? Or just want to push them out a little more?

It really depends on your wheel BS along with the tire size you are running. I initally bought mine with the intention on running larger tire size and my wheels have a 5.4" BS. Short of getting new wheels, spacers will give me the proper BS to run larger tires and not rub on the UCA's. Some just want a wider stance for a more aggressive look with their current stock setup. Although that wider stance will also be taxing to your wheel bearings. Spidertrax are top notch quality. I ended up selling mine since I kept my current tire setup.

I only rub the plastic at full turn when hitting a bump/driveway/divot etc. I really just want the wider stance as I am eventually going with the OME coils (sitting in garage) new LR uca's billies at 0 and a new leaf pack in the rear. I also still have the factory front bumper and Matt's skid plate will be arriving Friday :)

With that said are the wheel bearings the only possible problem I will have to deal with in the future as far as wear and tear from the Spidertrax?

Running a wheel with more backspace is like running a stock wheel with spacers pretty much (depending on your actual backspace). I ran spidertrax for a while with stock 17" sport wheels and had no issues. I have Bora .75" spacers now with different wheels and still have no issue. Like others have said, wheel bearings will eventually get us all one day, especially running big spacers or stuck out wheels, but the tacos do look good that way.:D

@reece13. When you ran the Spidertrax on the stock sport 17" rims what size spacers did you use without issue? 1.25 or 1.50.

I've been running mine for 5 years and about 50,000 miles with no real issues. Only thing is my wheels rubbed against the plastic that extends over the fog light on the driver side. I used a dremel and duct tape and everything was good.

Pulled the plug and here she is with a good bit of cutting plastic and CMC.

You had to cut the support mount? Was it rubbing that area before? Don't get me wrong... It looks good on your truck and I had thought about getting spacers before. It would basically be for looks on my truck though since I don't have any rubbing issues. I worried more about the wheel bearings in the end and decided against them. I like the wider stance but not at the cost of having to cut the support mount.

My backspacing on the stealth 6 wheels is 4.35" so adding another 1.25" it caused my tires to hit the cab mount when turning. No it wasn't rubbing before and I plan to up the size of my tires later anyways when I get my lift complete so I was going to have to cut the Cab Mount anyways. Its not hurting anything cutting the cab mount besides giving my tires more clearance. The wheel bearings yes later on might need replaced, but in my opinion gotta pay for the look you want :)

The one's with the reservoir? Those would look sweet with a lift.

Looks good. Im going to pick up my rear dif skid from bamf soon. Ill get the cab mount chop at his shop and then Ill order the all pro wheel spacers. I like that they offer the longer lug nuts. A few local guys were running them last weekend and they looked good.

Thank you. Post some pics when you have the skid mounted. Just do the CMC yourself as I did. Just buy a grinder from lowes and start cutting ($30 grinder, $8 safety glasses, $2 cutting wheel). Also found out that its not necessary to put the plate in that some people just prefer to cover the hole. Mine is open as I don't feel like paying someone to weld the plate on. Def love the wider stance. Seems the steering is slightly looser, but I don't mind it.

I already own a grinder but I want the plate welded on and I dont weld. Bamf has done quite a few of these and I think he only charges a hundred for the whole procedure. The stance looks great. Cant wait to get the spacers on.
